Pastor Linda Brown
Pastor Linda Brown was born in New Philadelphia, Ohio. She was the fifteenth of sixteen siblings. Before her first birthday, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C.H. Lowery moved to Dover, Ohio where she spent her formative years.
After graduating from high school she moved to Detroit, MI where she met and married her husband, Ocie L. Brown Jr. in 1970. Their marriage was blessed with three children. Together, while working and raising their children, they attended William Tyndale Bible College.
Her family were members of New Light Baptist Church where Ocie Jr. served as chairman of the deacon board before becoming an associate minister. In 1996, she assisted Ocie Jr. in forming Universal Transformation Ministries Church where he was the senior pastor.
In 2008, she was licensed to preach and became assistant pastor to her husband. When he became ill, she started serving in his position and after his death in March 2017 she became pastor of the church.
