We are excited to meet you and welcome you to UTM Church. On Sunday our building is open at 9am. You will be greeted as you enter the building. Visitors can select their preferred seat. Our Sunday service starts at 9:30 am. Typically, we sing songs of praise and worship for 20 minutes, then hear the sermon for 20 minutes, invite people to become a member or begin a relationship with God, and have closing prayer. The entire service lasts about 1 hour. Here is an example of a program from a Sunday Service. After church ends, members and visitors will mingle before heading home.
Our goal is that your visit is an enjoyable experience, and that you are inspired by the word of God. Our members will extend a warm welcome to you and your family. We hope this time in worship will touch your heart, and encourage you to visit with us again!
Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a dress code? No. Some church members wear dress pants, collared shirts, and dresses, while others wear jeans and a nice top.
How long is the service? Typically, the service from start to end lasts one hour.
Do you have a special service for kids? The children and adults all participate in the same service. If your little one isn’t use to sitting and needs to move around, it’s OK! Kids can move around as needed, and there’s plenty of room for them to do so.
How will I be treated if I don’t know anyone at the church? At UTM Church we give new friends a warm welcome. You can expect members to introduce themselves to you individually. Also, we would like to stay in contact (if you are interested) and will ask you to complete a visitors card. Finally, during service we do acknowledge all visitors and you can stand and introduce yourself. If this makes you uncomfortable, please let one of the greeters know when you arrive.
